Volunteer: Currently we are meeting each Monday afternoon at 4:30pm for general maintenance. This year we took on some of our own grounds maintenance to cut costs and meet budget. We can sure use your help! Volunteer groups welcome. Adopt a project, section or improvement that you would like to see happen at the cemetery.

The Sowers Cemetery Association worked hard to get a new fence and driveway in 2017. The old fence was past due, dilapidated and poorly represented the Irving community and those interred at Sowers. Many volunteer hours and dollars were required beyond our normal budget to get this done. Donations are still needed to cover the fence cost shortfall of approximately $7000.

Irving AMBUCS and Hope Irving Church install and dedicate a new flag pole in December 2014.

Make a Difference by Donating

The Sowers Association Board would like to make your visit to the cemetery a positive experience. Please donate so we can meet our maintenance and operations budget, research, repair headstones and improve the appearance of the cemetery for future generations.
